Florida is served by two national sperm banks at opposite ends of the peninsula: Cryos International in Orlando and Fairfax Cryobank in Miami. Neither is Florida-based, and no in-state bank competes on pay — so unlike California or Texas, the choice here comes down almost entirely to which city you can reach, not a bidding war on compensation. For much of the state, the nationwide known-donor route is the more realistic option.
How much you make donating sperm in Florida depends on which of the two sites is drivable. Cryos International in Orlando advertises around $720 a month; Fairfax Cryobank in Miami runs roughly $667–1k a month. Both are advertised ceilings that assume near-perfect attendance and consistent sample quality — real take-home is lower, and each bank holds part of every payment in escrow until your samples clear the FDA's six-month quarantine. Neither Florida site approaches the $2,400/month ceiling of California Cryobank, the highest-paying bank in the country, which has no Florida location.

Florida's two sites sit about 235 miles apart on the eastern side of the state. Tampa donors are ~85 mi from Orlando's Cryos site and Jacksonville ~140 mi; Gulf Coast and Panhandle donors face the longest drives, so for them the nationwide known-donor route below is often the more practical path.
A separate route from the walk-in banks above: directed / known-donor agencies match you to specific intended parents and work in all 50 states, including Florida. The family pays a per-cycle fee ($5k–$100k), usually trait-priced and released from escrow after FDA clearance — not a monthly wage, so it doesn't sort against bank pay.
